Born just outside of Manhattan and of Venezuelan descent, she found her independence at a young age. Growing up in the 80s, she gravitated towards the exploding music and nightlife scene of lower Manhattan. Looking to express her self-identity, she handcrafted original and daring looks for herself and friends. An avid researcher, Norisol worked and lived around the globe, absorbing the rich cultures of Spain, Italy, England, and France. Stepping outside of her own community allowed Norisol to see firsthand the exquisite quality and craftsmanship of some of her most revered designers. Upon her return to New York with a new and greater understanding of the design process and a passion to empower women of the world, Norisol turned her attention to the art of fine tailoring and began working with the best craftsmen in New York launching her own Ready-to-Wear collection in 2010.
