Awareness Walk

Patient advocate organizes walk to raise funds and awareness of rate genetic condition; Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) is a condition characterized by spontaneous episodes of edema, or swelling, in the face, feet, hands, throat, and abdomen. This potentially life-threatening condition can be misdiagnosed for years, making life for those who live with it difficult and unpredictable. Hilary, a Cullman resident living with HAE, has now organized a local walk at Heritage Park to raise funds and awareness of HAE. The event takes place on the first-ever Hereditary Angioedema Awareness Day. For more information about HAE, please visit www.HAEHope.com. This event is sponsored by Dyax Corp.
