A Walk to Remember & Community Fun Day; FACT: Women who are inactive throughout life are more likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer than other women! With that being said, it’s time to get moving!!! Please join Community Unity, Empire Whips, & the White family in honoring the life of NaaMeka White and the countless others who have/are battling breast cancer in A Walk to Remember & COMMUNITY Fun Day. Registration for the walk-a-thon begins at 8:30am and we are requesting a $10 donation per participant. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society of Tuscaloosa! Immediately following the walk-a-thon, there will be a COMMUNITY Fun Day! Bring a neighbor, friend, family member, church member, or co-worker. This event will be fun for the whole family! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! It’s is always appropriate to remember those who have lost their battle with cancer and to encourage those who are still fighting, as well as bringing UNITY to our COMMUNITY.
