Edward O. Wilson, recently called "one of the most important biological theorists since Darwin" by The New York Times, returns to Alabama for a special evening at McWane Science Center on Friday, May 7, 2010.

McWane Science Center completed a new permanent exhibit, inspired by E.O. Wilson, in March 2010. The exhibit-"NatureScope"-focuses on the interrelatedness of humans and the environment and provides a base for quality environmental education programs.

Wilson will give a public presentation beginning at 7:00 pm in the IMAX® Dome Theater. The presentation will be followed by a tour of NatureScope. Tickets for the public presentation and tour are $50 and include a signed copy of Anthill. Tickets may be purchased for the public presentation on www.mcwane.org or by calling (205) 714-8414.
