Alacare's Founders Day Celebration

Alacare's Founders Day Celebration; Join Alacare Home Health and Hospice in celebration of our founders, Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Beard, Jr. All proceeds benefit the Hospice & Home Health Fund of Alabama (HHHFA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization started in 1970 by Alacare’s founders, Mr. Charles D. Beard, Jr. and his wife Mary Sue. Attendees will be served complimentary hot dogs, hamburgers, and barbeque starting at 11:30a.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 4-12. Admission for children under three is free. Tickets include a tour of the Southern Museum of Flight, which will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Attendees will also be able to purchase a “Mini Vacation” package for $120 including a one night stay at the Holiday Inn and two Founders Day tickets. For $170 attendees may upgrade to four Founders Day tickets as well as a one night stay at the Holiday Inn. In addition to honoring the memory of the Alacare founders, this event will raise money for the assistance of home-bound patients experiencing financial difficulties. Without help from the HHHFA, these patients might not be able to continue receiving care in their homes. HHHFA helps to provide: Non-covered medical equipment, Medication assistance, Minor home repairs, Personal hygiene products, Payment of utility bill(s), Heaters, air-conditioners, fans, Eyewear and hearing aids, Clothing/blankets, Food, Assistance with rent/mortgage.
