Adeam Trunk Show

Adeam Trunk Show; Hanako Maeda started the ADEAM Fall 2013 Collection by imagining a modern fairytale --a city girl wondering into the woods, and being consumed by the mysterious forces of nature. Sharp tailored silhouettes reflect the urban aspect of the story while moss embroidery and vivid prints replicate the beauty of the forest. This collection showcases elements from different cultural sources and traditions, illustrating ADEAM's brand philosophy of infusing tradition and innovation. Hanako Maeda was born in Tokyo and moved to New York City at the age of five, spending most of her childhood in the city. At the age of eighteen, she attended Columbia University. While studying Anthropology and Art History, Hanako partook in various internships. Through her experiences in fashion editorial and PR, she developed an undying love for fashion. After graduating in 2010, Hanako joined the Japanese luxury brand, FOXEY, as the Vice President and PR Director. She launched her own label ADEAM in 2011, creating collections that infuse art and wearability. May 7th & 8th 10 am - 4 pm Gus Mayer at the Summit
