2013 Float Your Boat at Turkey Creek

2013 Float Your Boat at Turkey Creek; Turkey Creek Nature Preserve will host the 4th Annual Float Your Boat community event. In addition to the popular balsa wood boat races, this year’s event will include a Kids Carnival, Make Your Own Boat Contest, Living History Camp and a 5-K race. Proceeds benefit the environmental education programs at TCNP. TCNP is located in Pinson Alabama, 15 miles north of Birmingham and offers breathtaking natural beauty, fishing, swimming, moderate difficulty hiking with orienteering, geocaching and, of course, spectacular Turkey Creek Falls.
