3rd Annual House of Prom at Midtown Village; Midtown Village to Host 3rd Annual House of Prom Benefiting Turning Point TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- With prom season just around the corner, Midtown Village and Clear Channel's 94.1 WZBQ are partnering to host the 3rd annual House of Prom. Midtown Village is receiving donations of gently used, formal attire and to provide high school girls an opportunity to purchase affordable prom dresses and evening wear shoes, while supporting Turning Point, a valued community service. AzWell, Bevello, Lucca, Old Navy, and SOCA, all at Midtown Village, will be collecting formal dresses such as bridesmaid, pageant, and prom dresses now through March 1 during their normal business hours. The donated dresses will be sold Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Suite 206 at Midtown Village, between SOCA and Shades. All dresses will be priced at $10 and 100% of the proceeds will benefit Turning Point, a local organization that helps victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The event provides an opportunity to turn once-treasured formal attire into a must-have prom dress for high school girls, while benefiting Turning Point.
