Shamrockin' in Five Points South; For the ultimate St. Patrick's day experience in Birmingham, come Shamrockin' in Five Points South and save while you shop, eat and drink local! Hosted by Operation New Birmingham (ONB) and Five Points Merchants Group, Shamrockin’ in Five Points South is a six-day St. Patrick’s Day celebration featuring food, drink and shopping specials at Five Points area restaurants, bars and retailers. The celebration will culminate on St. Patrick’s Day (Saturday, March 17) with ONB’s 27th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The procession will make its way through Five Points and end at Cobb Lane. Following the parade, live music, Irish dancers and bagpipers will entertain guests as they shop, eat and drink at Five Points businesses.
