Alabama Bluegrass Music Association Showcase of Bands; Alabama Bluegrass Music Association (ABMA) will host the 17th annual "Showcase of Bluegrass Bands". This annual event is considered one of the best family-oriented entertainment events in Alabama. The Showcase of Bands has sixteen bands scheduled to perform. Bring your acoustic instruments and join in on the numerous “jams” that will occur throughout the day. All levels of musicians are encouraged to come! “This is a great opportunity to hear some of the best bluegrass bands in the State, and have the chance to pick with them and other musicians,” says Brent Warren, President of the ABMA. The ABMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of bluegrass music in Alabama. The ABMA provides a network of fans, musicians, promoters, vendors and other interested parties for the purpose.
