Metro Youth All Star Football Kick Off Event; members of the 2011 Metro Youth All Star Football game will be announced at a special Kick Off Event. The members of the All Star team consist of fifty 8th graders from across the Birmingham Metro youth recreational football leagues. Celebrity coaches Reggie Torbor (former Auburn football and current NFL Buffalo Bills player) and Kermit Kendrick (former University of Alabama and former NFL player) will share with parents and players in attendance. Restoration Academy Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Dewayne Coker will also share as a part of the program.
The Metro Youth All Star Football Game will be held Wednesday, November 23rd at 5 PM at the Birmingham Southern College Football Complex. Tickets are $5.00 each and will be available at the gate. All proceeds benefit the Restoration Academy athletics program.
