The Alabama School of Fine Arts - 2011 Reunion; The 1976-1989 graduates of The Alabama School of Fine Arts will reunite to honor founder James C. Nelson. To celebrate, classmates will enjoy an evening of dining and dancing at The Harbert Center in downtown Birmingham. The reunion weekend will also include: a cocktail reception on Friday evening at The Tutwiler Hotel, a tour of the school and the new performing arts venue (currently under construction) on Saturday, and a family picnic on Sunday. Reunion committee chairs, Christine Naish Naccarelli (Dance, 1986) and Joy Ovington (Theatre, 1985) invite all current and former students, faculty and staff to attend. They welcome anyone with any connection to ASFA and a love of the arts to attend as well! Time passes; art endures.
