Good News on Good Friday Community Outreach Crusade; Good News on Good Friday Parade and Community Outreach Crusade. The parade starts in Downtown Bessemer and ends at Debardeleben Park. The crusade addresses homicide and street violence, under-employment, unemployment, poverty, hunger, diseases and homelessness. Health screenings, Clothing give-away, refreshments, school supplies for kids Job Placement information, Motivational Speakers, Inspirational Music and so much more. A “Good” time for the entire Sponsored by Project Hopewell, Inc., a non-profit 501 c 3 faith based organization, Jefferson County District Association-Dr. Edward E. Rodgers-Moderator, The City of Bessemer-Office of The Mayor, The Honorable Kenneth Gulley and The Office of District 1 City Councilor- David Vance.
