Low Country Seafood Boil Benefiting Kid One Transport

In an effort to raise money for Kid One Transport, Masterbuilt Manufacturing will attempt to cook the largest pot of low country seafood boil ever seen in Alabama. The event is open to the public. “My brother Don and I have always been ‘big’ thinkers,” said John McLemore, president and CEO of Masterbuilt Manufacturing. “When we heard about the 1,200 gallon butter bean pot in Pinson, AL, we knew this was a great opportunity to have some fun and give back to a worthwhile non-profit organization." Masterbuilt, a leader in grill, smoker and turkey fryer manufacturing, has developed a 1 million BTU burner system for underneath the pot. A standard low country seafood boil recipe calls for two to five gallons of water. Masterbuilt cook 1,000 pounds of food with 500 hundred gallons of water. “We want to invite everyone to come out and join us at this tailgating style event,”
A donation to Kid One Transport at the event is requested.
