Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Program; Myrlie Evers-Williams will be the keynote speaker at the University of Montevallo’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Program. Her presentation, “Forging the Dream: Leadership by Action and Not By Design”. Evers-Williams, the widow of slain civil rights leader Medgar Evars, was the first woman elected board of directors chair of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
