Holiday Lights at Oak Mountain State Park; Come visit Oak Mountain State Park this holiday season for some holiday cheer. Once again, we will be decorated with Christmas lights. Decorations will run from the Front Gate along John Findley Drive to the Pro Shop. A Holiday Hayride will take place on Friday and Saturday nights throughout the month of December, also on the Wednesday & Thursday before Christmas. Hayride will not occur on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Fridays & Saturdays, December 3rd & 4th, 10th & 11th, 17th & 18th Wednesday & Thursday, December 22nd & 23rd Holiday hayride times are 6:30p.m. and 7:15p.m. The Holiday Hayride will begin at Oak Mountain's Pro Shop, travel along John Findley Drive to Terrace Drive. The hayride will stop at the Beach Pavilions where you will offload to walk around and look at lights. Hot Chocolate and cookies will be available for a small cost. Hayrides are $5 for adults, $3 for children.
