Oak Hill Cemetery Fall History Tour; This is a family-friendly event where you can come out and enjoy the beautiful, park-like setting of Birmingham's first city cemetery. Come out and meet some of the residents there, James Sloss (founder of Sloss Furnace), Judge Mudd (builder of Arlington House), Lou Wooster (local madame who helped during the cholera epidemic in 1873) and many, many others! This is not a scary event and strollers and children are welcome and encouraged! All proceeds go toward the upkeep of the cemetery. So join us as we celebrate this gem and the founders of our Magic City!
