Halloween "Do Drop Inn"; The Lighthouse for Recovery is hosting it's First Annual "Halloween Do Drop Inn" as it's grand opening celebration. The Lighthouse for Recovery is a tax-exempt not-for-profit residential housing program, beginning operations on September 1, 2010, which serves all of Jefferson County and the state of Alabama. The Lighthouse for Recovery is a program that provides residential care which serves as a bridge between inpatient treatment and independent life in the community for substance abuse clients. The Lighthouse for Recovery’s goal is to alleviate homelessness and provide drug and substance abuse diversion and intervention in Jefferson County and the state of Alabama by outreach within the community, providing a network of services and programs, through our efforts and outsourced agencies that serve our target population groups.
