5th Annual "Evening of Art & Blues"; the Alabama Blues Project will be hosting its 5th annual fundraiser “Evening of Art and Blues,” a great night out that also helps to raise funds and awareness about the Alabama Blues Project’s education and preservation programs. The evening will feature music on two stages with an all-star lineup of Alabama musicians. Headliners 2BLU & the Lucky Stiffs and Elnora Spencer will be joined by favorites Dr. G.B. Burt, Henderson Huggins and the Alabama Blues Project Advanced Band. This year’s edition of “Evening of Art & Blues” will showcase its best auction yet, including a selective assortment of pieces from top artists around the United States and local business donations. An autographed guitar by Derek Trucks will be auctioned live – as well as an autographed football by 2009 NCAA National Championship Coach Nick Saban.
