Free Job and Economic Forecast Workshop; University of Phoenix, the largest private accredited University in North America, is partnering with CNBC News Anchor Erin Burnett and CareerBuilder’s Vice President of Human Resources Rosemary Haefner to co-host “Strategies in the New Economy” workshops. The Birmingham campus will provide attendees with support tools and information to help adapt to the ever-changing job market, and to help people land not just a job, but a career in today’s economy. Resume Writing & Interview Skills Workshop will be led by University of Phoenix Faculty Dr. Bob Dewhurst. Bob will provide a practical presentation with tools to help attendees prepare for their next career search. Where the Jobs Are Workshop will be led by University of Phoenix Faculty Jessie Creech. Jessie will provide a local view of the Birmingham employment landscape with localized job data provided by CareerBuilder. Workshops are free and open to the public. Space is limited.
