The Alabama Asian Cultures Foundation, in partnership with The Korea Society, will host the Chae Hyang Soon Dance Company in Birmingham for a one night only performance. This performance, entitled Dynamic Korea: Dance and Song, is part of a national tour organized by The Korea Society, a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated solely to the promotion of greater awareness, understanding and cooperation between the people of the United States and South Korea. The nonprofit Alabama Asian Cultures Foundation is honored to have secured one of only five performance venues in the United States for this outstanding touring company from South Korea. Led by their internationally recognized and honored artistic director, Chae Hyang Soon, a professional dancer who imparts flair and vision to traditional Korean music and dance, the Company that bears her name has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and the Asia Pacific Peach Foundation.
