Ensley Highlands Neighborhood Association 1st Annual Youth Parade
As the 2010 - 2011 School year commences, we would like to offer our support with an emphasis on creating a nurturing environment conducive for learning and personal development for our young people. Some activities are as follows: music workshop, ambition to fame search, media luncheon and many, many, more activities. Discussion topics will be: Mentoring, 411 on Drugs, Dating Violence Prevention, Bullying and Cyber-Bullying, and Gang Awareness. We will also have presentations concerning good study habits, organizational skills, civics and citizenship. A special emphasis will be focused on bringing the youth together with their parents to create much needed family dialogue in the home.
