Girls Night Out! 2010

Sisterbration presents Girls Night Out! 2010 featuring Butterfly Confessions. Sisterbration is a nonprofit, community organization flourishing in Birmingham since 2004. Our goal is to educate, empower and enlighten African American and other women of color with the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle. For the past six years, Sisterbration has taken an unprecedented step of inspiring women and girls to talk openly about self-esteem, sexuality, and HIV/AIDS through its program Girls Night Out! On June 26, 2010, we will bring awareness to the local community about the risk of HIV/AIDS by providing an alternative and thought-provoking stage production of The Butterfly Confessions, a provocative stage performance created by the producers of The Pocketbook Monologues which was seen on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta last season.
