"A Summer Workshop and Performance"; Actor/writer/storyteller Anthony Irons performs excerpts from "Passage," a one-person show tracing African-American lineage from pre-colonial Africa to present-day America. Presented by Aldridge Repertory Theatre. This one-day matinee show moves from pre-colonial Africa to present-day America through live poetry, dramatic monologue, song, jazz and modern dance, even storytelling and rap. The day begins with a workshop led by Irons and his wife to teach skills in presentation, improvisation and communication.
